The group discussed plans for 2015 like volunteering at the upcoming the Agribition show in Lebanon, TN and helping out with the Tennessee Beef Ambassador Contest during the summer. They also decided to institute a dues structure to help pay for travel funds and fund TNCW scholarships. Those wishing to join TNCW will pay $20 for the year and students will pay $10 per year.
“Sharing experiences, receiving feedback from your industry peers and focusing on the development of the next generation is imperative for any business to succeed, agriculturally based or otherwise,” said Beth Burns, TNCW president. “A group for ladies within the cattle industry, and within TN, provides not just fellowship but the opportunity to sharpen our skills, collectively develop an industry voice, and ensure strong foundations within our youth for a successful future.”
